Accessibility Statement

Effective date: 2026-09-05.

NextCommitHQ wants every coach and program staff member to be able to use NextCommitHQ Network, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.

1. Our target

We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is our design target and our testing standard. We do not claim full conformance yet; the sections below say what has been checked and what has not.

2. What we do in the product

  • Every interactive control is a real button, link, or form field with a visible label or an accessible name, and is reachable and operable with a keyboard.
  • Focus is visible on every control, and a skip link goes straight to the main content on every page.
  • Touch targets are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
  • Text and control colors meet AA contrast on the canvas and card colors we use, and status is never conveyed by color alone; each status has a text label.
  • Pages have one clear heading structure and page titles that describe the page.
  • Forms report errors in text next to the field and announce them to assistive technology.
  • Text resizes to 200 percent without loss of content, and layouts reflow for narrow screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • No content flashes, auto-plays, or moves in a way that cannot be paused.
  • The Chalkboard never relies on time limits and always provides a transcript.
  • We do not use CAPTCHAs.

3. What has been checked

At the time of this statement the landing page, Discover, a coach profile, the Chalkboard, an inbox conversation, the profile page, onboarding, the legal pages, and the administration area have been checked with a scripted pass for images without alternative text, controls without an accessible name, form fields without a label, heading order, duplicate ids, positive tab indexes, a language attribute, a main landmark, and a working skip link, and by hand with keyboard navigation at phone, tablet, and desktop widths. Contrast of the design tokens was checked when the palette was set.

4. What has not been checked yet

  • A full screen-reader pass with NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver across every screen.
  • Testing at 400 percent zoom and with Windows high-contrast mode.
  • Voice control (Dragon, Voice Control) on the message composer and the offer forms.
  • Tablet widths between 768 and 1024 pixels in every flow.

These are scheduled before the public pilot and this statement will be updated with the results.

5. Known limitations

  • The hosted sign-in page is provided by our sign-in provider and follows its accessibility practices, which we do not control.
  • Calendar files for interviews open in whatever calendar application you use; their accessibility depends on that application.

6. Tell us about a barrier

If something on the Network is hard or impossible for you to use, email support@nextcommithq.com with the page, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use. We respond within 5 business days, and if we cannot fix the barrier quickly we will offer another way to complete the task, such as completing it for you by email.

7. Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact legal@nextcommithq.com and ask that the matter be escalated. This does not limit any right you have to complain to a government agency.
